Crazy times we are living in right now with the Covid-19 pandemic. A pandemic that has left many of us stuck inside not working or working from home. Being a photographer during times with Stay At Home orders in place means I can’t do what I love the most. Which is, MEET AWESOME PEOPLE, and help them share their stories. It leaves me super bummed out but I remind myself that this won’t last forever.
So, what does a portrait and wedding photographer do when she is stuck inside? I document life with my partner and kids of course!! Since we missed out on our trip to the Bahamas in March(don’t worry, it’s already rescheduled lol), I decided to bring the beach to my youngest son Alex(1) and my youngest daughter Brook’Lyn(9). We piled the kinetic sand on the table and broke out the toys and had a great time. So, I’m taking this time to use my camera to catch moments of our life during a time that will soon be in history books. It will be a nice bit of history for them to look back on and pass down to their children and friends later in life. My favorite people to take pictures of will always be the loves of my life. I look forward to capturing a sharing what I am calling the #QuarantinedwithaCamera with everyone.
