Coming to you on the blog today is Deanna and Nyghel’s September wedding at The Resort at Egyptian Hills, which is a huge contender for one of the absolute most fun weddings I have ever had the chance to not only photograph, but to also attend. I don’t think I have ever laughed so hard and so much behind the camera in my life!!!
From 1 in the early afternoon when we started the day to around 10 in the evening, it was a non-stop stream of laughing, dancing and awesomeness. (Do people say “awesomeness” still? If not, this wedding is def bringing it back).

These two lovebirds met while going to the same music school but got to know each other better while performing in a musical: A Little Night Music, and have clearly been having the time of their lives ever since. And, as you’d expect, the bridesmaids and groomsmen were just as much fun. I mean, there are wedding parties… and then there are wedding PARTIES.

Mingled in with the uproarious events were some genuinely sweet moments, too. I loved when Deanna was serenaded, they ladies all sounded so beautiful.

Just goes to show that fun and love go together really, really well. Congrats again, Deanna and Nyghel, and is it too much to ask that you put me on the invite list for any of your future get-togethers…? Ha! I’m serious though lol
